A New Age

Over the next couple of months, I will be studying the effects of social media marketing in the communications field. I will be reviewing several books on social media marketing, commenting on current news, analyzing the seriousness of the supposed threat that social media marketing poses to traditional marketing tactics and examining ethical issues surrounding our new Web based world. I will also include several how to tips about various social media sites including SWOT analyses on sites. I hope that this blog will not only provide insight on the application and usage of social media sites, but provide a deeper perspective and understanding of the issues surrounding our new world.
