Peer to Peer Communication
April 15, 2008
The main reason blogs and social media sources are successful. It’s a lesson out of a psychology book. People like to be socially accepted and to look their peers for identification and recognition. They receive peer to peer communication anywhere and unknowingly from resources. Social media marketing and blogs is the transferring information and opportunities. In blogs, several people simply read them and with that issue a dialogue never is formed. People have learned just to read the material without contributing to the conversation. It’s the easiest way to receive peer approval and keeping a supposed status among peers. Besides that, its trusted. People want to know what others think. This is the strategic reason why some stores like Kohls allow you to send a picture of the item you want to purchase to your peers for approval. According to Ecommerce representatives, the initiative has been successful in response. Peer to peer communication also brings and creates an opinion and adds to the reality and creation of the project. It’s an element that corporations need to integrate into their Web campaigns especially if they have an “experience” like product or a product launch. With peer approval, success will begin to roll into company.
